Deport

To deport a person is to expel him from the country. Citizens of the U.S. cannot be deported. An alien (an individual who is not a citizen or national of the U.S.) can be deported for a variety of reasons, including: failing to follow immigration laws, committing a crime, using fraudulent immigration documents, lying during immigration interviews, entering or remaining in the U.S. illegally or posing a security risk.
