Bounty Hunter
A bounty hunter is a person whose job is to find and arrest criminal defendants who have skipped bail for a fee (bounty). Bounty hunters are hired by bail bondsmen to retrieve defendants who have breached the bond agreement and failed to appear in court. See also, Bail, Bail Bondsman.
