29340 The Old Road, Castaic, California, 91384. Visitors must park in Dr. Elmer T. Jafee Visiting Center's parking lot; complete a "request for visit" form that contains their name, the inmate's name and booking number; and, take a shuttle bus to the Facility. Visiting Hours

You may visit an inmate at the North County Correctional Facility ("NCCF" or "the Facility"), which is also known as the "Wayside Jail," only on a Saturday or Sunday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm except for holidays. You may visit an inmate at the Facility on the following holidays even if they fall on a week day: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. If a holiday falls on a week day, a visitor may visit an inmate for an additional half-hour. Because visits are available on a first come, first serve basis, you should arrive at least one hour before the desired visiting time. Many visitors camp out near the Facility the night before their visit to NCCF.

Attorneys may visit the North County Correctional Facility, Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Clergy, bail bondsmen and attorneys who must arrange visits should contact the Watch Commander at 661-295-7810.

Visiting Procedures

Inmates at the North County Correctional Facility may have one hour of visitation each weekend, which must be split into two one-half hour visits. Only three (3) persons may visit an inmate at one time. Minors—persons under the age of 18, may visit inmates, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless the inmates makes a special request they be permitted to visit unaccompanied by an adult. An unaccompanied minor must be twelve years old or older. An infant or toddler (a lap child) may not be counted as a visitor.

Visitor Restrictions

Only visitors with a valid ID may visit inmates at NCCF.

Officers at the Facility may deny visitation rights to anyone for many reasons. Visitors with outstanding warrants, traffic or parking tickets should not visit the Los Angeles Pitchess Detention Center, North County Correctional Facility, as they may be subject to immediate arrest. Ex-felons, persons on probation and persons formerly incarcerated in State prison must contact the Watch Commander to first obtain approval to visit an inmate at the North County Correctional Facility. All visitors may be subject to record checks and random searches.

Telephone Access & Mail

During booking, the person being held in the North County Correctional Facility, ("the arrestee"), may make three free telephone calls. Arrestees/Inmates may not receive calls or phoned-in messages, but may make unlimited collect calls once housed.
