Inmates are permitted only one visit per day for 15 minutes. One (1) adult
and one (1) child may visit at one time. All minors must be accompanied
by an adult. Attorneys, clergymen and bail bondsmen may visit the Jail
at any time for as long as they like.
Only visitors with a valid ID will be allowed to visit inmates at the Jail.
Telephone Access & Mail
During booking, the person being held in the Pacific Area Jail, ("the
arrestee"), may make an unlimited number of free telephone calls.
Once housed, inmates may make unlimited collect calls.
Since arrestees will be housed at the Pacific Area Jail for no more than
48 hours, not including holidays and weekends, you should not attempt
to send mail to an inmate at the Pacific Area Jail.
Any time after arrest, an arrestee/inmate may authorize the release of
his personal property to anyone unless that property has been entered
into evidence. If property has been entered as evidence, it will not be
