Evidentiary Hearing

This is a hearing where evidence is presented, as opposed to a hearing in which only legal argument is presented. It is a hearing that is presented according to the appropriate rules of evidence and procedure. Parties and witnesses testify in this hearing and the judge makes findings of facts and conclusions of law based upon the evidence presented.
