Corruption

Corruption is difficult to define, but it generally involves the use of public office for private gain. In other words, it is the use of one's office (public) to obtain some personal benefit for oneself or another person, contrary to one's duty and right of others. Corruption includes misappropriation of public funds through bribery, kickbacks, extortion, fraud, and theft.
