Complicity

Complicity is the state of being an accomplice—a person who participates in the commission of a crime, but does not actually commit the criminal offense. For example, if Joe drives the car and serves as a look-out, and Frank enters the house and steals the television, Joe's complicity makes him a part of the burglary.
